How much is your delivery cost?
We have a simplistic delivery system and best of all the deliveries are FREE with no hidden costs!
How do I know what is my delivery day?
Southern Accents PetCare, Inc. delivers to most of Mecklenburg County and parts of Union and York Counties. All deliveries are based upon our zip code delivery system. Certain zip codes get delivered to on certain days of the week or certain days of the month. We can keep our delivery service FREE, with no hidden costs, due to the fact that everyone in the same area gets delivered to on the same day! Click here to view the zip code breakdown.
Do I have to be present to accept a delivery?
You do not have to be present for a delivery. If we are delivering your order to your home, we ask you to tell us of covered spot that we can leave your food, in case of inclement weather. If there is not a covered spot, we do our best to find a place where your food will be kept dry! If we are delivering to your office place, we request that we leave your order at a front desk with a receptionist.
How do I pay?
Southern Accents PetCare, Inc. gladly accepts personal checks, cash, and Visa/MasterCard.
Personal checks may be left out in a notified chosen spot for us to pick up when we bring your order.
Visa/MasterCard numbers can be given to us when you place your order.
All credit card numbers are stored on your personal file for any future orders.
Are there any minimum order requirements?
We require that whenever an order is placed involving a small bag of pet food, there is a two small bag minimum required for free delivery
Do you deliver just treats?
Treats must be delivered with a food order. If a customer is requesting an order with only treats to be delivered, there is a $25 minimum order total.
Can I buy individual cans?
We do not sell canned pet food by the individual can. We only sell canned food by the case and do not mix the flavors.
How does delivery service work when it involves frozen pet foods?
There is minimum order total of $25 when frozen food is involved!
Frozen food deliveries require a person to be home to receive a delivery, or a cooler must be left out big enough to hold your whole order. If no one is home and no cooler is left out for us to leave your frozen food order, we do implement a $15 delivery charge!
Do you have automatic delivery available?
Many of us lead very busy lives and do not closely pay attention to the day-to-day details of our lives.
Southern Accents PetCare, Inc. keeps track of all orders you place with us. If you would like the luxury not to have to remember to order your pet food, let us do your remembering for you! We will help you figure out how often your pet needs food and will automatically schedule your deliveries! Therefore, it just 'magically appears' on your doorstep, right on time!
We prefer that automatic deliveries be set up with Visa/MasterCard payments so you don't have to remember to leave us a check! There is no extra charge for automatic deliveries.
Please Note: Do not assume you have automatic delivering unless you have set it up with us!
What if I miss ordering for my delivery day?
If you miss ordering for your zip code's delivery day, we do our best to accommodate your requests. If you request it and it works into our schedule to bring your order to you on a day that is not your normal designated delivery day, we will charge $15 for the delivery.
What is your return policy?
Although returns happen very infrequently, we require that all orders wished to be returned MUST be returned within two weeks of being purchased. All returned items MUST be un-opened and damage free. Southern Accents reserves the right to refuse a return due to a damaged product or packaging. All returns MUST be brought to our office. Since our delivery service is free, we do not pick up any returns. Of course, if for any reason a product is delivered to you and you deem it in unsatisfactory condition, we will pick up the product from you and replace it with a new product. In this case we must be notified within 24hrs of your delivery. Once the order is left at your location, we do not guarantee it from damaged incurred from extraneous circumstances not predicted.
Will you deliver to me at work if you don't deliver to my home's zip code?
Yes, we will deliver to you at work! We do request that you allow us to leave your order with the receptionist just in case you are not available when we come. We do not guarantee and specific set times for delivery.
Do you have bulk pricing?
Please call us in reference to our bulk pricing. We do have bulk pricing on some, but not all, product lines. With the bulk pricing, you must reach a pound limit to qualify for it in these particular lines. Because our delivery service is free and our products are priced as fairly as possible, we do not give many discounts unless it is a promotional discount we have going on.
Since your delivery service is FREE, you must have hidden delivery charges?
You will find that our pricing reflects NO hidden delivery charges. Our pricing is competitive with other retailers of the product brands we carry.
How soon do I need to give you notice to place my order?
We need to have your order by the end of business hours the day before your zip code's delivery day. We understand and are aware that sometimes you forget and call at the last minute to order. We do our best to accommodate last minute requests, but cannot guarantee that your order will be placed if it is last minute!
What if it's raining the day you deliver my order?
We ask you to do your best to designate a covered spot for us to leave your order in when you're gone. IF you do not have a covered spot to leave the order, if we have them with us, we will place it in a plastic bag to protect it from the elements. With the lack of predictability in weather, there is no guarantee that we will have plastic bags with us to leave your order in. We will do our best to find an overhang of sorts to leave your order in this case. IF you are worried about it, the best bet is to leave a few plastic bags out for us to leave your order in. Once the order is left in your location, we are not held accountable for any damages incurred from extraneous circumstances not predicted.
